New Photopolymer Stamps – Video Tutorial & Tips
On March 1st I told you about this new stamp set debut. Well, my stamps are here and I’ve been playing with ideas for the new Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamp Set (see it online – 132956) and I LOVE them! I love them so much that I had to make a Video Tutorial for a card, complete with Tips & Tricks for the new stamps, so you can see how much you NEED to try these.
(can’t see the video? Click here to watch directly on my blog)
Need a reminder about what makes them so great?
- They’re entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
- They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
- Can you say sticky? (Don’t worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
- They’re age tested. They won’t yellow or cloud up over time.
- They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
- We could go on, but we’ll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.

Mixing Up with Mixed Bunch & Blossom Punch
You might have noticed a few favorites if you scan the projects from my blog in the past couple of weeks. One of my favs is definitely the Mixed Bunch stamp set (from the Occasions Mini Catalog) and its coordinating Blossom Punch (see it online).
Another fav? The Simply Scored Scoring Tool (see it online) — you can see the lines I made here on the right edge of the card if you look very carefully. They’re much easier to see in person. Speaking of which — there’s a new Diagonal Scoring Plate for the Scoring Tool! You can check it out online — and watch for my project ideas in the next couple of weeks!

Perky Penguin Punch Art Greetings
Sometimes it’s a clean and simple card that pops out at me the most. I’m completely in love with this little penguin Christmas Card! I designed this card with the Owl Builder Punch (see it online) and the Petite Pairs stamp set (see it online) for my Christmas Card Stamp A Stack Class tomorrow. So you could make the card yourself at home, or if you’re in Central Illinois, you can join me and make 4 of these little guys with me (plus 12 other cards)!
The penguin is completely done with the Owl Builder Punch. Did you see my Reindeer Punch Art with the Owl Punch? It’s only one punch, but there are so many uses.
The little patch of ice underneath the penguin was punched from the Silver Glimmer Paper (see it online) with the Small Oval Punch (see it online). I’m pretty much addicted to the Silver Glimmer Paper (check out some of my other projects). This paper comes with two 12×12″ sheets in a package, and a little bit (like here!) goes a LONG way.
Fun thing about the Petite Pairs stamp set, too. Each greeting comes in two parts, so the 2nd part is perfect for adding inside a card. With the clean and simple lines on the front of the card, I went with ‘clean and simple’ on the inside, too.
Do you love punches as much as I do? Be sure to check out some other Punch Ideas on my blog!
