Window Framelits Buckle Card: Video Tutorial
Do you love unique folds? This is a great card for you to try! With the Window Frames Collection Framelits (see them online) and your Big Shot (see it online) this card is a snap.
- Stamp and use a Window Framelit to cut out your main image.
- Use the SAME size framelit to cut a hole in a contrasting piece of cardstock.
- Use the next size larger to cut around the hole, creating a ¼” frame piece.
- Score your card to open in the center, then attach the main image piece to the left flap.
- Close card and attach ¼” frame around main image, but adhere ONLY on right flap.
Other supplies for this card:
- Just Thinking stamp (see it online – 129940)
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue (see it online – 110755)
- Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (SAB – free item – #127540)
- Sycamore Street Ribbons & Button Pack (SAB – free item – #130812)
Or would you rather watch a Video Tutorial?
Here’s one that I created for the same card, but using different Designer Series Paper — the More Amore Designer Series Paper (see the paper online – 129309).

Valentine BINGO Centerpieces: table decor ideas
Looking for wedding table decor? Baby Shower centerpieces? These are Valentine centerpieces headed to my local library for table decor, but it’s a fun idea that can be applied to any occasion: Rosettes!
To make these easy Valentine centerpieces, I used the Designer Rosette Die from Stampin’ Up! (see it online) and the More Amore Designer Series Paper (see the paper online – 129309). If you’ve never made them before, be sure to check my Designer Rosette Die Tutorial.
For this size of picks, I cut one full strip of designer paper with the rosette die, then cut it into 3 pieces before folding and gluing (TIP: hot glue for speedy rosettes!).
Here are some of the fun supplies I used:
- Big Shot (see it online – 113439) — see more Big Shot ideas on my blog
- Designer Rosette Die (see it online) — see more Designer Rosette ideas on my blog
- Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit (see it online)
- Occasions Alphabet ( see it online – 123598)
Here’s another idea for the Designer Rosette Die same shapes (cut into 3 strips per rosette die-cut) but different paper.
Have fun with these!
Happy Stamping, and Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Lego Minifig Valentines: You COLOR My World!
Preschool Valentine idea? Sure! How about Lego Valentines? I created this card for my son to take to school using My Digital Studio 2 (learn more about it) and a free font I found online – LegoThick.
We weren’t sure if his class party was candy-free, so crayons seemed like a great alternative treat.
It was simple to use MDS to create a block pattern (square punches stretched) and add the circles (Big Bold Birthday circle pattern digital stamp). The white word blurb is the Round Bubble Punch, stretched to accommodate our greeting.
After the graphics were done, we got to work on our crayons! When I was in Orlando last month for the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference (too much fun!), we stopped at Downtown Disney and I picked up a Lego ice cube tray from the Lego Store.
We didn’t use the ice cube tray for ice…we used it to make custom Lego minifig crayons!
A few tips for making your own Lego Minifigure Crayons from the ice cube mold:
- We found that a sharp knife worked best for cutting the peeled crayons (thank you Pampered Chef!)
- The crayons settled quite a bit so it helped to heap the crayon pieces on the mold
- Our oven was set to 350 degrees
- The crayons turned out most colorful when we didn’t melt them too long
My son is SO excited to share these with his class today!! Happy Valentine’s Day parties to all of you who don’t have school tomorrow!
If you already have your Valentines finished for this year, don’t despair! These would be cute for a birthday party or any other seasonal treat.

id you CHEWS your Valentine idea yet? Are you looking for a cute bubblegum saying?

My daughter and I created these for her class using My Digital Studio 2 (love it!).
We printed them at home, cut them out and attached them to tubes of gumballs.

Well, Cross My Heart and Send Me A Valentine!
Need a quick classroom craft for next week? A valentine idea for your kids to make at home? Here’s a sweet (ha!) one that doesn’t take much time. It uses the Cross My Heart stamp set (see it online) that I shared yesterday for the birthday card.
Just trim out a doily heart from the More Amore Designer Series Paper (see the paper online – 129309) and punch another heart from the paper to layer. Attach your finished pieces to a flat lollipop and tie a ribbon!
Stamping Tips & Tricks to remember:
- Use your Stampin’ Write Markers (the broad tip) to color directly on a stamp in several different colors for a multi-color image like on the crossword puzzle. (see the Stampin’ Write Markers online)
- With Stampin’ Write Markers, color the lighter colors first and don’t worry about detail. Use a darker marker next and color over anything you want to be darker. The dark color will cover up the lighter ink just fine.
- For a tiny stamped image that you want to punch out (like the elephant), remember to stamp first, then punch. It’s easy to use the Stampin’ Up! punches upside down so you can see through the window and center your image. (see punch selection online)

Whooo Loves You? Cello Bag Topper Valentine Owls
Looking for a cute Valentine treat bag topper for a cellophane bag? Here’s a quick one that I posted last year… it was so popular, I figured I’d share it again!
These cute owls are based on the Medium Cello Bag size (see them online), and a handful of M&M’s fits perfectly.
Punches & Dies:
- Top Note Die (for Big Shot) -113463
- Scallop Circle #2 Die (for Big Shot) – 113469
- Scallop Circle Punch – 119854
- 1 1/4″ Circle Punch -119861
- 1″ Circle Punch – 119868
- 1/2″ Circle Punch -119869
- For the feet, the Blossom Punch is a good fit — 125603
Like the little “owl be yours” greeting? It’s punched with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch. The image is part of the Owl Be Yours & You Bee Mine Digital Download (see it online). I just made a full page of them and printed the circles at home so I could punch them out.
Did you see that you can now try out My Digital Studio for free for 30 days? Be sure to check out the details!
Best part of this treat? They’re fairly simple to assemble, whether you’re making 5 or 50!

Sweet & Simple Valentine Treats for Class & Friends
More Amore Treats +
Hearts A Flutter Framelits =
I have SO many ideas from the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference in Orlando last week, but there were a couple that jumped out at me. This is the time of year to be thinking of little treats for neighbors and friends, or for school classroom parties, and here’s a sweet & simple treat to make and take!
The steps couldn’t be simpler.
More Amore Valentine Treats
- Snip apart the pre-cut heart paper (makes 32 large hearts per package) (see the paper online – 129309)
- Glue each heart to the front of a flat lollipop
- Choose the “express” solution or the “artisan” version:
- Express: use the Hearts a Flutter Framelits (see them online - 130159) with your Big Shot (see it online – 113439) to cut small hearts from the other pages of paper in the More Amore Designer Paper package
- Artisan: stamp with the Hearts A Flutter stamp set and cut with the framelits from the Hearts A Flutter Bundle (see it online – 131097) – *LOVE* the chevron heart from this stamp set! Finish up with a stamped Valentine greeting from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (see it online – 127802)
Voila! Happy classmates and friends! Can’t you see your coworkers loving this treat? The More Amore Product Suite (see it online) is chock full of fun coordinating pieces for your projects.

Sealed With Love: Keep Calm and Stamp On
Have you seen the “keep calm and…” trend? Seems like it’s everywhere now, and when the Carry On stamp set debuted this last summer in the annual catalog, it was an instant hit! Since Carry On is a hostess-exclusive set (see it online), you can get it for free with your hostess dollars when you have a party, OR you can pick it for free with your Stampin’ Rewards when you place an order totaling $150 or more.
I created these notes for online customer thank you cards last month. They feature the sweet Sealed with Love Simply Sent Kit that is available thru January 21st as a free bonus with purchase (see the special online).
Each kit makes 10 notes and here’s what you get:
- 10 notecards: 5 ea. of 2 designs, 3-3/8″ x 4-9/16″
- 10 double-sided envelopes: 4-3/4″ x 3-7/16″
- 20 printed paper buttons
- 10 pieces Whisper White/Real Red Baker’s Twine: ea. 10″ (color exclusive to this kit)
- 24 Stampin’ Dimensionals
The notes are super fun — you can tie them up with the paper buttons on the dimensionals for a sweet closure. You’ll have to put the card into another envelope to mail, but I got lots of nice comments on these when I used them as thank you notes!
Plus I’m always a fan of Express Stamping ideas. You can see more quick & cute ideas here on my blog!
**Stampin’ Rewards — Special Note — you won’t be able to add the Carry On stamp set to your online shopping cart right away. Once you’ve picked out $150 or more in stampin supplies and added them to your cart, then you’ll be able to shop the Stampin’ Rewards section and add these items to your cart for free.

Sweet Treat Heart Cups – Clearance Rack Bonus!
Have you seen the 15 NEW items on my online Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack? They were added yesterday — so shop now for best selection, since items are available “while supplies last”.
One of my fav items? The Heart Sweet Treat Cups! And on the Clearance Rack, they’re only $0.59 for a box of 12. Use them to make treats for a classroom or for friends & neighbors. Everyone loves a treat!
Here’s a fun way to use your Heart Sweet Treat Cups (Clearance Rack item, only $0.59 for 12 – see them online) and the matching Full Heart Punch (see it online). Did you know the Sweet Treat Cups have the adhesive on them already? Yeah, I know!! They could hardly be easier!!
These use the Scallop Squares Duo Die (120903) for the background, as well as the Sweetheart stamp set (it’s on the Clearance Rack! see it online – 120780). The tiny hearts are punched from the Red Glimmer Paper (see it online) which looks even BETTER in person. Absolutely gorgeous, and a little goes a long way.
The sticks are lollipop sticks from any big box store — just add a little flag banner with a heart, adhere them to the back and you’re set!
One last tip on the Sweet Treat Cups? Don’t overfill them. My strategy is to fill them until they look even, then remove one more M&M. (and it eat — you wouldn’t put it back in the bag, right?) But this way you’re sure there won’t be too much stress on the adhesive on the back of the Sweet Treat Cup.
Need more Sweet Treat Cup ideas? Check a few out on my blog. Remember, these are currently on the Clearance Rack, so they’re available only while supplies last!

Stamps: Sweetheart (Clearance Rack – limited time); Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Red Glimmer Paper; Ink: Real Red; Accessories: Heart Sweet Treat Cups (Clearance Rack – limited time), Full Heart Punch, Scallop Square Duo Die, Big Shot, Small Heart Punch,
Jumbo Sticky Rounds: Twisted Fabric Flowers
Sometimes it’s fun to make a card that will never go through the mail — something special that you’d include with a package or hand to a special friend. This month at Stamp Club we made Jumbo Sticky Round flowers (see the Rounds online) with the Flirtatious Designer Fabric (see it online – 122335) and attached them to hand-made vellum envelopes (vellum card stock – 101856).
Jumbo Sticky Round Flower Directions:
Begin with a 1 ¼” x 27” strip of fabric.- Twist one end of the fabric to about ¼” wide and tie a small knot.
- Press the knot into the center of a Jumbo Sticky Round
- Continue twisting the fabric and pressing into the Sticky Round. Turn the Sticky Round and the flower will grow.
- Peel from the backing paper and add to a die cut flower layer or a punched circle.
The vellum envelope opens and a regular note card fits inside – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. The You Are Loved stamp set (see it online – 123779) is a great one for collage stamping.
